We're excited to share that Magenta Health has been awarded first prize in the Infoway ImagineNation LEADing Practice Challenge, which aims to recognize clinical practices that use consumer digital health technology to improve the patient experience.

Magenta Health recently shared the podium with University Health Network and eHealth Saskatchewan to accept a LEADing Practice Award for the implementation of our online scheduling software. Family physician, Dr. Marco Lo, was in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the clinic.

At Magenta Health, we've always believed that online appointment scheduling, delivered in partnership with our vendor Veribook, plays a key role in improving the patient experience and health outcomes, as well as delivering system level improvements. E-booking makes scheduling appointments dramatically more convenient, reduces unnecessary emergency room visits, improves patient access to their physician, enables support staff to focus on patient care tasks, addresses language and other barriers to access, and improves equity via improved transparency.

As pleased as we are to be recognized for implementing our existing solution, we will not be resting on our laurels! We plan to continue to listen to feedback from users of our booking system. From improving mobile compatibility to adjusting physician schedules to reduce patient wait times, we have and continue to work with our vendor to improve the overall system.
