Prescription renewals

In order to ensure patients who require care have timely access, your physician is asking that some prescription renewal requests be submitted through your preferred pharmacy in lieu of booking an appointment with the doctor.

For requests that meet all of these conditions …

  1. you are not imminently running out of your medication

  2. you can wait several business days for your request to be actioned;

  3. you do not have any concerns about your medication;

  4. you do not need any dosage changes; and

  5. the medication is not a controlled substance (e.g. a narcotic)

… please contact your preferred pharmacy and ask them to fax a request for renewal to our office. You will not be charged a fee for this service. Your physician’s fax number can be found here. Such requests may take up to several business days to be fulfilled though.

In any other situation, including more urgent requests, please return to the previous page, and book an appointment using the pink “any reason not listed on this page” option, at the very bottom.
